Welcome to Yan Yean Poultry a farm and facility thoughtfully built over 45 years to create one of the most relaxing, comfortable, and nurturing environments for free-range chickens in Victoria.
What began as a small family block of land in Yarrambat has grown, year by year, into a purpose-designed poultry facility, shaped by experience, hard work, and a deep understanding of what hens truly need to thrive.
Every building, every paddock, every shelter, and every quiet corner of our property has been developed with one goal in mind:
To give every bird a safe, calm, homely environment where healthy hens can grow, flourish, and lay beautiful free-range eggs.

For more than four decades, our facility has been a homely place for raising young chicks into strong, healthy hens. Many of the birds that eventually go on to egg-producing farms across Victoria and NSW begin their lives right here.
We raise them from as young as three days old in environments that promote:
